The super star for this session was the little spell that could, Scorching Ray! Sean was on a hot streak! I mean his rolls were on fire! I think there was three, maybe four successful rolls, which meant the demon fight that happened wasn’t as devastating as it could have been. Its the mercurial magic effect of that spell that makes it so powerful in Nick’s hands- so much healing! Its enough to make a cleric blush.
This marked the first full session in the Dark Tower itself, and so far its been a bit of a slog. There’s still a Scorching Ray blasting statue to contend with. And somewhere in there are some old friends with an evil sword as well.
