New Year, and new opportunities to start bad habits, like not doing my weekly recaps. Here are some quick bullet points of the last couple of sessions.
After descending into the second level of the dungeon:
- The party met Holomir Goldheart, defender of the Tower of Mitra and the one who can destroy the Fang of Set.
- None of the party were worthy of his sword, which would perhaps would’ve have been a big loss if this party had less magic swords.
- Proceeding beyond the entrance of Mitra’s Tower, they fought ghouls.
- They entered another room, where they fought even more ghouls!
- Finally, they entered a room with metal spider webs because behind a false wall was a giant metal spider. Duh.
- After defeating the metal spider (no relation to the final boss in that horrible Wild Wild West movie in the 90’s) the party rescued a roguish fellow named Rufo.
- Also we confirmed that Nicklas lays eggs, like the hypothetical Fergus the Rust Monster.
- The party fought gargoyles next; Stacia bit the head off of one. 😮
- And lastly, the party encountered a room with two arguing magic doors and soon a fight commenced.
I’d say that about closes the door on the latest events.
